Appointments

When you arrive at the Southern Alberta Eye Centre, you may either park in the lots located at the front, sides and back of the building, or have your responsible driver drop you off at the main entrance.  Please note there is also direct access to the building from the back parking lot.

For your appointment at the Mitchell Eye Centre, you will find the offices located on the main floor of the Southern Alberta Eye Center. Please proceed to the reception for check-in, and ensure you have followed your doctor's instructions prior to arrival.

Visiting the specialist at Calgary Retina Consultants, you will need to proceed to the second floor by the elevator located straight ahead when you enter the building's foyer.  Please check-in with the reception, located to the right as you exit the elevator.  Remember to bring your sunglasses in with you.  Your eyes will be dilated every visit and are very sensitive to light.

The staff and doctors at Calgary Retina Consultants are sensitive to your appointment time, however there may be the occasion where they are required to accommodate emergencies in their already busy schedules.  Please note that there are currently only four retinal surgeons Red Deer south to the BC Border. In addition, many of the appointments are time sensitive procedure in our efforts to preserve sight. We appreciate your advance understanding.

If you are scheduled for eye surgery, please take the elevator to the third floor and proceed to the check-in located to your right as you exit the elevator.
